Working with AI

Technology is at the core of what I do, so it should come as no surprise that AI tools are part of my daily workflow. In the spirit of the transparency I ask of the organizations I advise, here is an honest look at the tools I use and how I use them.

AI supports my work — it doesn’t replace my judgment or expertise. Every output is reviewed, verified, and shaped by me before it reaches a client or reader.

ChatGPT (OpenAI) — mainly for text correction and as a search aid when I need quick help finding functions or references.

Claude (Anthropic) — my go-to for market research and structuring documents, from strategy papers to book chapters.

DeepL (DeepL SE) — used for translations and refining sentence structure, particularly across languages.

ProWritingAid — applied to longer documents and select emails, mainly to explore alternative phrasing and tighten the writing.

Copilot (Microsoft) — part of the toolkit, though not currently in active use.

I regularly review this list as tools and needs evolve, and I’ll keep it up to date here.
